It is most likely to be found underground. We waited 1.5 hours for our meal (10pm came finally, after all the other tables that came after us were already finished) poor service, the poor communication of the service staff with the kitchen unfortunately dragged on to us. In the end, the apology was excused, but it was immediately justified and the guilt dismissed. Then it is the colleagues, besides, you would have tried everything you could and the worst thing at the end: we can be happy that we don't have to pay for food ... (this is a meal that we do differently) had ordered and the service staff had given us wrong information, so a bright risotto suddenly came with cheese (although I am lactose intolerant) and the supposedly green insert was unfortunately not to be seen at all, but hey we can be glad not to pay the risotto Thank you too, everything goes by, including the food ...

Comfort, small, stylish restaurant. Clear menu, delicious dishes and friendly service, lots of hospitality. Suitable wine recommendation. It was a spontaneous discovery, we will definitely be back.

Small, cozy place. Good mood and good service. Small menu but good quality. Not cheap, but the portions were plentiful. Very decent wines. You can stand it here. Reservation recommended.

Yesterday's spontaneous visit to the Basta wine tavern was absolutely top class ..... three roast roasts which were top class super meat Hand-scraped spaetzle super tasty sauce / the side dish was very well prepared / top wine and simply harmonious, all in all recommendable and quaint of its kind "" "So bit French / Swabian" "Service was good - attentive and kind the host sympathetic and just as hard-working and on the ball for the guests

Very good food, very friendly and attentive staff. Unfortunately, I have to deduct one point for the long waiting time for food and the (in my eyes) uncomfortable chairs. But I would go back anytime if I have enough time.

Cozy and small wine bar in the Bohnenviertel with excellent Swabian cuisine. Best onion roast meat !!!

The quality of the food felt very much. Sometimes it tastes great for half a year, sometimes rather mediocre. But it is never bad. The onion grated and the sauce served to it is perfect. A visit is worthwhile. In addition, the location in the middle of the bean quarter is great.

I just had the best onion roast of my life here.

A Stuttgart classic!

Delicious food, great wine and lovely service. We were at the Christmas market and it started to pour. Stopped into this restaurant to get a cocktail and get out of the rain. Place was packed. We ended up staying for a bottle of wine, dinner and desert. Sat next to a couple of high ranking politicos and a well known comedian. What a memorable evening! Service was attentive and made us feel *entirely* comfortable. Waitress spoke English and was triple sweet! Thank you!

Nice tiny restaurant with small but delicious menu. International & Swabian food. The area around is quite nice, too. In Stuttgart city center in the so called Bohnenviertel. Reservations necessary. Don’t be too late as it is well booked.

It's definitely a little expensive. But, the food and wine were both excellent. Not a place I'd go often, but perhaps every once in a long while. Worked well for a cool autumn evening, but I imagine this place gets hot when it's warm outside.

a friendly neighberhood restaurant with a nice atmosphere in a cool district of stuttgart. When its good its great, when its not its just decent. More often than not its good. it gets very warm in the summer. Ideal for fall and spring. a bit difficult to get seats on weekends so calling ahead is a good thing.
